Lovely stay at Xufre
Celestine spent 8 months in Xufre yard winter 16/17.
Nito and his son Alex made us very welcome and provided an excellent service at a very fair cost.
There are now 2 showers and toilets and a washing machine all available at no extra cost. You are welcome to live aboard and to carry out your own maintenance or get the yard to do the work
All work done on our boat including considerable work to rudder – which they spotted and needed doing urgently – was to a high standard
Alex arranges collection from and to Villagarcia station and it is 25 minutes by train to Santiago and that has an airport with EasyJet flights and generally good connections
Quick mention for Carlos who runs the store and admin as he is a great source of information and extremely helpful
Overall we were very happy and recommend highly
